Concerns

Who this is for

  • Weight that has not moved despite genuine effort
  • Repeated cycles of losing and regaining
  • Weight change that followed a medical event, medication or a change in hormones
  • Wanting medical supervision rather than a program bought online
  • Wanting to understand what your blood work says before changing anything
  • Wanting a plan that continues past the first few months
The work

What the program includes

Five parts, each of which continues for as long as you are in the program.

Consultation
A full medical history, current medications, previous attempts and what happened to them, sleep, stress and what a normal week actually looks like for you. We set goals that are specific and measurable rather than aspirational.
Lab work
Blood work is part of the evaluation, not an upsell. It tells us what is happening metabolically before anything is prescribed and gives us a baseline to measure against later.
A personalized plan
Built from your results, your history and your schedule. It covers what you eat, how you move and how the plan handles the weeks that do not go well, because those are the weeks that decide the outcome.
Prescription options when clinically appropriate
Medication is one tool among several. Whether it belongs in your plan is a clinical decision made by a physician after your evaluation and labs, based on your health history. It is not required, and it is never the whole plan.
Ongoing check-ins
Scheduled follow-ups to review progress, repeat labs where indicated and adjust. Supervision is the part that distinguishes medical weight management from a diet, and it is the part that continues.
Your visit

What to expect

Consultation

About an hour with our medical team. History, goals, measurements and questions — yours as much as ours.

Labs and review

Blood work is drawn and reviewed. You sit down for the results and we explain what they mean in plain language.

Your plan

You leave with a written plan: nutrition, activity, what to track and when your next appointment is.

Follow-up

Regular check-ins to review progress and adjust the plan. Frequency depends on your plan and is set with you at the start.

Practicalities

Good to know

This is a medical program

Everything is supervised by a physician, based on your evaluation and labs. It is not a subscription, a cleanse or a plan you follow alone.

There are no guarantees

Individual results vary. We do not make promises about how much you will lose or how quickly, and you should be wary of anyone who does.

Nutrition and lifestyle are part of it

Every plan includes guidance on eating and activity. There is no version of this where those do not matter.

Candidacy is determined at evaluation

Health history, medications and lab results all factor in. Some people are not appropriate candidates, and we will tell you if that is the case.

Questions

Before you book

Who is a candidate?

That is determined at your evaluation. We look at your health history, current medications, measurements and lab results together before recommending anything.

Is medication required?

No. Whether prescription options belong in your plan is a clinical decision made after your evaluation and labs. Plenty of plans do not include one.

How often do I check in?

Regularly, with the schedule set at the start and adjusted as you go. Follow-up is the core of a supervised program, not an optional add-on.

Do I need lab work?

Yes. Blood work is part of the evaluation. It tells us what is going on before anything changes and gives us a baseline to compare against.

How quickly will I see results?

It varies by person and by plan, which is why we measure and review on a schedule instead of predicting. We will be straight with you about what your own numbers show.
