1What we collect

Two kinds of information.

• What you give us. When you submit a form on this site, we collect the fields you fill in: your name, phone number, email address, the service you selected, and anything you write in the message box. If you call us, we keep the phone number and a note of what you called about.
• What your visit generates. Standard web and advertising data collected through cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics and Google Ads: pages viewed, time on page, approximate location from your IP address, device and browser type, the site or ad that referred you, and whether you called or submitted a form.

Please don't send detailed medical history through the website form. Information submitted through this site is not treated as a medical record, and the form is not monitored for emergencies. If you have a medical emergency, call 911.

2How we use it

• To respond to your inquiry and answer your questions.
• To schedule and confirm consultations and appointments.
• To measure how our advertising and our website perform, so we can spend the budget where it works.
• To keep the site secure and working, and to meet our legal and professional obligations.

We do not use website form submissions to make medical decisions. Treatment decisions follow an in-person evaluation by a licensed provider.

3Contact by phone, email and text

By submitting a form on this site, you agree to be contacted by phone, email or text message about your inquiry. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text message to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time by calling 248.972.8600 or emailing [email protected]. Opting out of marketing messages does not stop messages that are necessary to confirm or change an appointment you have booked.

4Who we share it with

We share information with the service providers who make the site and our communications work — email delivery, website hosting, analytics and advertising platforms such as Google, and scheduling tools. They may only use what we share to provide their service to us.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, when we need to protect our rights or someone's safety, or in connection with a sale or reorganization of the practice.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it.

5How long we keep it

We keep form submissions and call notes for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep an accurate record of our business — typically a few years — and then delete them. Analytics and advertising data is retained according to the settings of the platform that collects it, which for Google Analytics is a rolling retention window measured in months. If you become a patient, records created during your care are kept for the period required of medical records in Michigan, which is longer.

6Your choices

• Cookies and tracking. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Ad personalization can be turned off in your Google account settings. Blocking cookies does not break the site.
• Access and deletion. Email [email protected] to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We will verify who you are before we act, and we will respond within a reasonable time. Some information we are required to keep, such as medical records, cannot be deleted on request.
• Marketing. Unsubscribe links appear in any marketing email we send, and STOP works on text messages.

7Children

This website is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors through it. If you believe a minor has submitted information here, email us and we will delete it.

8Security

Form submissions travel over an encrypted connection, and access to what we receive is limited to the people at the practice who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please use the phone for anything sensitive.

9Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top of the page tells you when it was last revised, and the current version is always the one published here.
