What it addresses
- Forehead lines and the vertical lines between the brows
- Crow's feet at the outer corners of the eyes
- Flattened or hollow cheeks
- Thin lips, or lips that have lost definition
- A softening jawline and loss of contour
- Under-eye hollows and nasolabial folds
Treatments
Two families of injectable, used for different problems. Most plans use one; some use both.
- Botox® and neuromodulators
- Neuromodulators relax the specific muscles that crease the skin when you frown, squint or raise your brows. Treated conservatively, expression lines soften while your face keeps its range. We map the injection points to how your face actually moves, which is why the first appointment includes watching you make expressions.
- Dermal fillers
- Fillers restore volume where the face has lost it — cheeks, temples, jawline, under-eye hollows and nasolabial folds. Different products have different densities, and the product is chosen for the area rather than the other way round. Placement is structural: support first, surface smoothing second.
- Lip filler
- Lip treatment is about shape and hydration as much as size. We work in small amounts across more than one visit when that gives a better result, and we will tell you when the lip you are asking for will not sit well on your face.
What to expect
Consultation
We look at your face at rest and in motion, review your health history and medications, and agree on what is being treated and what is not.
Mapping
Injection points are marked before anything is placed. You see the plan and approve it.
Treatment
Most appointments run 15 to 45 minutes. Topical numbing is available, and filler products generally contain a local anesthetic.
Follow-up
We check the result at two weeks for neuromodulators and adjust if a small refinement is needed.
Good to know
Downtime
Minimal. Expect small red dots for an hour or two and, with filler, some swelling or bruising that settles over several days. Most people go back to work the same day.
When results appear
Neuromodulators typically begin working in 3 to 14 days. Filler is visible immediately, then settles over about two weeks as swelling resolves.
Aftercare
Stay upright for four hours, skip strenuous exercise, heat and alcohol for 24 hours, and don't massage the treated area unless we tell you to. Written instructions go home with you.
Individual results vary
Metabolism, muscle strength, product choice and treatment area all change how long a result lasts. Nothing here is a guarantee.
Before you book
Does it hurt?
Less than most people expect. The needles are very fine, neuromodulator injections feel like a quick pinch, and filler products generally include a local anesthetic. Topical numbing is available on request.
How long does it last?
Typically 3 to 4 months for neuromodulators and 6 to 18 months for fillers, depending on the product and the area treated. Areas that move constantly, like the lips, tend to be on the shorter end.
Can I combine treatments?
Yes, and many plans do — neuromodulators for lines that come from movement, filler for volume that has been lost. We sequence them so each result can be judged on its own before the next step.
Who performs the treatment?
Our licensed medical team, under physician supervision. Your plan is reviewed before anything is injected.
Will I look done?
Not if we do our job. We start conservatively and build at follow-up. It is always easier to add than to wait something out.
