Skin, treated at the source.
Sun damage, redness, texture and laxity respond to different technologies. We pick the one that suits your skin and your calendar — not whichever device is newest.
What it addresses
- Sun damage, brown spots and uneven tone
- Persistent facial redness and visible vessels
- Rough texture and enlarged-looking pores
- Fine lines around the eyes and mouth
- Acne scarring and post-acne marks
- Early laxity along the jaw and neck
Treatments
Five approaches, matched to the concern and to how much recovery time you can give it.
- IPL photofacial / skin rejuvenation
- Intense pulsed light targets pigment and blood vessels rather than the skin's surface, which makes it the first choice for sun spots, diffuse redness and broken capillaries. Sessions take about 30 minutes and are usually done in a short series. Expect treated spots to darken and flake away over the following week.
- Laser skin resurfacing
- Resurfacing removes or heats the outer layers in a controlled pattern so the skin rebuilds smoother and firmer. It is the most effective option for texture, fine lines and acne scarring, and it asks the most of you in recovery. We set the intensity to the result you want and the downtime you can take.
- Microneedling
- Very fine needles create controlled micro-injuries that prompt the skin to lay down new collagen. It suits texture, scarring and overall quality, works on every skin tone, and typically needs a series of three to six sessions spaced about a month apart.
- Skin tightening
- Energy delivered below the surface heats the deeper layers and encourages tissue to contract and remodel. It addresses early laxity along the jaw, neck and cheeks. It is not a substitute for surgery, and we will say so plainly if that is what your concern actually calls for.
- Dermabrasion
- A mechanical resurfacing of the outer layer for dullness, rough texture and superficial scarring. Useful on its own and useful as preparation, because product penetrates far better through skin that is not buried under dead surface cells.
What to expect
Skin consultation
We look at your skin without makeup, take a history including sun exposure, medications and past treatments, and identify which concern is worth treating first.
A plan with a calendar
Most skin results come from a course, not a single visit. You leave knowing how many sessions, how far apart, and what each will cost you in downtime.
Treatment
Numbing is used where it is needed. Sessions run 30 to 90 minutes depending on the treatment and the area.
Recovery and review
You go home with written aftercare and a follow-up. We reassess before repeating, rather than booking a package and hoping.
Good to know
Downtime, honestly
IPL: redness for a few hours, darkened spots for up to a week. Microneedling: redness like a sunburn for one to three days. Resurfacing: several days to two weeks of visible healing depending on depth. Skin tightening: little to none.
Sessions
IPL and microneedling generally need a series of three to six. Resurfacing may be a single deeper treatment or a few lighter ones.
Sun matters
Treated skin burns easily. Daily SPF is not optional afterwards, and we may postpone a session if you have recent sun or a tan.
Individual results vary
Skin type, age, sun history and how closely you follow aftercare all change the outcome. We do not promise a specific result.
Before you book
Which treatment is right for me?
That is what the consultation decides. Pigment and redness point toward IPL; texture and scarring toward microneedling or resurfacing; laxity toward tightening. Many plans combine two over a few months.
How much downtime should I plan for?
Anywhere from none to two weeks. We tell you the range before you book so you can schedule around an event rather than around a surprise.
Is it safe for darker skin tones?
Some technologies are, some carry more risk of pigment change. Microneedling is generally well tolerated across skin tones. Device settings are chosen for your skin, and we will recommend against a treatment that is not appropriate for it.
Does it hurt?
Most treatments feel like heat, snapping or pressure rather than sharp pain. Topical numbing is used for microneedling and resurfacing.
How soon will I see a difference?
Pigment and redness often improve within one to two weeks of an IPL session. Collagen-driven changes from microneedling, resurfacing and tightening build over one to three months.
